Businesses are invited to contribute promo items for two premier events targeting newcomers!
New Teacher’s Showcase, sponsored by First National Bank Texas, is an annual event welcoming new KISD teachers to the area. The event highlights local businesses and provides an excellent opportunity for businesses to advertise to new KISD teachers. Businesses are encouraged to participate by being a sponsor or vendor (click here for more information), or by contributing 550 promotional items (i.e. pens, flyers, keychains) to be included in goody bags distributed at the event. Chamber members may contribute one item free of charge and any additional item will be $25. Future investors may contribute one item for a fee of $25. Items must be delivered to the chamber by 5 pm on Tuesday, August 1. Volunteers are needed to help stuff goody bags for NTS Friday, August 4 at 9 am. Hood Howdy is a bi-annual event that allows businesses to market their company to Ft. Hood soldiers and their families. Businesses are encouraged to participate by contributing 500 promotional items (i.e. pens, flyers, keychains) to be included in goody bags and distributed at Hood Howdy. Chamber members may contribute one item free of charge and any additional item will be $25. Future investors may contribute one item for a fee of $25. Items must be delivered to the chamber by 5 pm on Tuesday, August 8. Volunteers are needed to help stuff goody bags for Hood Howdy Thursday, August 10 at 9 am.
