Businesses are invited to contribute promo items for two premier events targeting newcomers.
Hood Howdy is a bi-annual event that allows businesses to market their company to Ft. Hood soldiers and their families. Businesses are encouraged to participate by contributing 500 promotional items (i.e. pens, flyers, keychains) to be included in goody bags and distributed at Hood Howdy.
Chamber members at the Build, Lead and Invest level may contribute items free of charge, members at the Engage level may contribute items for $25, and future investors may contribute one item for a fee of $50. Items must be delivered to the chamber by by 5pm on Wednesday, July 27. Volunteers are needed to help stuff goody bags for Hood Howdy July 29 at 5 pm. New Teacher’s Showcase, sponsored by A+ Federal Credit Union, is an annual event welcoming new KISD teachers to the area. The event highlights local businesses and provides an excellent opportunity for businesses to advertise to new KISD teachers. Businesses are encouraged to participate by being a sponsor or vendor (click here for more information), or by contributing 550 promotional items (i.e. pens, flyers, keychains) to be included in goody bags distributed at the event.
