Applications are now being accepted for Leadership Killeen 2016. Leadership Killeen is The Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce’s definitive program specifically intended to develop our community’s future leaders. By engaging local leaders with organization leaders, the course aims to produce a shared vision for the future, and help facilitate its fulfillment.
Leadership Killeen is designed to identify, educate and motivate emerging community and business leaders about the various facets of local and state governments and quality of life issues for the Greater Killeen area. The program prepares participants to achieve goals by working as a team. Participants are given the opportunity to make a difference in our community by identifying an area of need and developing and executing a plan of action, which becomes a class supported project during the course.
Leadership Killeen meets one day each month beginning September 2015. The curriculum will include Fort Hood, Education, Quality of Life, Healthcare, Business and Economic Development, and Local and State Government. Each sessions will combine information, problem solving, and leadership development.
Since 1986, the program has offered an invaluable opportunity to become involved in the Killeen community by giving participants further exposure to community resources and offering them a wealth of business knowledge.
