Ever wanted to work at the Chamber? Well here's your chance! We are looking for two community-minded, customer-focused individuals to join our team! The available positions are Program Manager and Project Manager.
The Program Manager is a part-time position that is responsible for Military Relations, Public Policy, talent liaison, and events (such as lunches, social gatherings and coordinated multi-session educations programs). The desired individual must be able to prioritize and effectively execute multiple events at the same time. This position requires the ability to work with a diverse range of personalities, including legislators, Soldiers, students, and education and business professionals. This position will also be responsible for providing content for subject specific publications, some of which will be new content and some of which will be republication of current event articles. Additional administrative responsibilities include meeting record keeping, filing, mailings, etc.
The Project Manager is a full-time position responsible for assisting with programs and events of the communications, membership and talent development departments as well as assisting with aspects of bookkeeping and record retention for the chamber. A strong background in communications is desired, as responsibilities include developing and distributing content for chamber newsletters, publications and social media. This individual also serves as staff support for the Greater Killeen Young Professionals and assists with planning for several annual events hosted by the chamber, so customer service and attention to detail are a must!
