The Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce-Public Education Council supports local business owners of all ages, and it’s the time of year when our young entrepreneurs set up shop as a part of Lemonade Day. This is a free community program that teaches youth how to start, own and operate their own business – a lemonade stand. In their lessons, youth learn how critical location can be to the success of a business. Some Lemonade Day participants may request to set up their lemonade stand in front of a local business. We would like to have a list of interested businesses available for youth to contact. The child will be responsible for contacting the business as part of the learning experience, and all stands should be supervised by a parent or mentor on Lemonade Day. If your business is interested in hosting a Lemonade Day stand, fill out the form here. When a business agrees to host a stand, they will receive a Lemonade Day Support Kit with window cling.

For more information about the program or on how to register a child or to host a stand at your business, contact forthoodarea@lemonadeday.org. Lemonade Day is May 3, 2015.
