Roy J. Smith Award-Dr. Ann & Gerald Farris
The Roy J. Smith award is given for outstanding community leadership. This award is dedicated to an individual for lifelong contribution to improving the Central Texas area. Our community was blessed with the leadership efforts and outstanding work done by the late Roy J. Smith. The area’s most prestigious award has been named in his honor. Dr. Ann & Gerald Farris were the recipients of the 2015 Roy J. Smith Award.
Large Business of the Year Award-All American Chevrolet
This award is given to the major business in the Killeen area that has had the greatest positive impact on the area and the Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce. Businesses with more than 50 employees are eligible. The selected business will have displayed the spirit of teamwork and will be active in projects benefiting the greater Killeen area. All American Chevrolet was the recipient of the 2015 Large Business Award.
Small Business of the Year Award-Big Hoss BBQ
This award is given to one of the small businesses in the Killeen area that is a member in good standing with the Greater Killeen Chamber of Commerce. Businesses with less than 50 employees are eligible. The selected business will have contributed greatly of their time and talents on many of the projects benefiting the chamber and the greater Killeen area. Big Hoss BBQ was the recipient of the 2015 Small Business Award.
