Marty Janczak was supposed to be retired but when he finished the “Honey Do” list he escaped and reentered the workforce. He is originally from Northwest Missouri but left in 1968 and joined the Navy. He is a Surface Warfare designated officer and served 35 years both on active duty and reserve. On the civilian side of his career, he has owned an underground utility construction company, was a Realtor and developer, owned several drycleaning stores and finally started Earthstones, a state of the art machine shop for stone. He has previously served as an elected city councilman and as a member and chairman of several civic boards and commissions. He has been married to Jan since college. They have four sons and five grandchildren. They reside in Temple.
